Check out the law the treaty, it has to do with weapons shipments in large quantities overseas. No I don’t believe this is a slippery slope, they could do it without the UN. under Article 1 section 4 using the commerce clause. Our guns are safe, remember the Tenth Amendment. As for Alex, I try and corroborate everything he puts out. Depending on the source, as with anything put out anymore, I try to find at a minimum 2-3 other sources. The one thing that I have noticed about Alex lately is he’ll put out an article and it’ll be news from 2-3 years ago. For example, he ran a story the other day about LEO’s in Maryland assaulting a 14 year old skateboarder in Baltimore. I checked the link from youtube and it was from February 12, 2008. I don’t mind that he does this, to a degree, but posting as it just happened…hmm. Not trying to take anything away from Alex, as I have learned quite a bit from him. I also like George Noory and his radio show Coast to Coast A.M.
As for the U.N. Gun Ban Treaty, there are alot of grumblings with not only this treaty and the wording. I am trying to find the link that stated Obama and Clinton both agreed to the disarmament timeline the U.N. has put out. That timeline is set for 2012 and it stated that all nations must be disarmed by then. Also, there is alot of issues arising with how Obama sidestepped Susan Rice, U.S. Ambassador to the U.N., who rightfully should be president of the U.N. Security Council. According to Article 1, section 9, it’s, in my opinion, unConstitutional for him to hold the position and title of president of the U.N. Security Council. I think this is possibly the first time a POTUS has done this and without Congress approving it, to my knowledge. Anyhow, getting late and I have to get up early! I’ll be back tomorrow

Yep, that’s the one, and it says nothing to me about taking our own weapons. It’s all about the sale of large quantities. As in they believe their own stories that in Mexico all the weapons were purchased in the U.S.
