Second Member of the Democrat House to be brought up on Ethics Charges: Maxine Waters “Come on Down”

July 31, 2010

By BRODY MULLINS

Wall Street Journal

WASHINGTON—Democrats are facing the possibility that two of their most outspoken lawmakers will be on trial for ethics violations this fall after Rep. Maxine Waters (D., Cal.) failed to reach an agreement to settle allegations against her.

House ethics investigators are looking into whether Ms. Waters violated House rules by using her senior position on the House Financial Services Committee to help a Boston-based bank, in which Ms. Waters and her husband had a financial interest.

Proving that she is not only ethically challenged but completely educationally challenged (stupid) she once again makes a complete fool out of herself. Watch her colleagues just smile as ebonics didn’t have the words she was looking for.  Another crook, another thief, time for the dirt nap of her career.

Just a little thing on your President

I’ve been following this big time at www.dangersofallah.com In the event you are interested, this has moved to a criminal complaint, charges filed, don’t believe this will be blocked, different circumstances, A.I.D has admitted it.

Just how cool would it be for Kenya to be the reason this guy finally swings? Rational thoughts while observing the passing charade, I’m J.C.

The Zombie Option: That’s Right The Public Option Is Back From the Dead

Investors Business Daily

Health Care: A 2,000-page government takeover of the health system was just enacted, but now congressional Democrats want even more government. The “public option” is rising from the grave. The newest proposal, called the “public option act.”

When Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid delighted the liberal Netroots Nation convention in Las Vegas on Saturday by telling them, “We’re going to have a public option. It’s a question of when,” most people assumed he was talking long-term.

Meet Rep. Jan Schakowsky

You didn’t think anyone could be more left than Pelosi?

But 128 House Democrats have co-sponsored a bill to establish a “robust” government-operated health insurance program. Their selling point is, surrealistically, deficit reduction. One of the bill’s boosters, Rep. Jan Schakowsky, D-Ill., ranked by Govtrack.us as the farthest left member in Congress, claimed a government option would save money the way Medicare does.

Democrats say Rangel should resign: But of course!

By LAURIE KELLMAN (AP)

Isn’t it just like me to have a different take on this? Resign?  No way. This scumb bag has been screwing America and the American taxpayer his entire career.  He gets off with nothing less than the anal probe by the IRS.  He must pay all back taxes, interest and penalties.  Of course the Democrats want this guy to fall on his sward, his “ethical lapses in judgment” would be a distraction for the upcoming elections.  People might wonder, what’s up with this?  Why does Chuck get to avoid taxes when I can’t buy groceries? Rational thoughts while watching the Democrat charade, I’m J.C.

WASHINGTON — Calls for Rep. Charlie Rangel’s resignation rained down on Capitol Hill late Friday from House Democrats who said more than a dozen ethics charges against the 20-term lawmaker showed a disregard for the rules and undermined the public’s confidence in Congress.

Who me? Resign?

The calls came as Democrats headed home for their month long recess wrestling with how to handle the tax and disclosure charges against Rangel back in their districts as election season loomed. Republicans, meanwhile, raced ahead with plans to make Rangel the face of corrupt Washington under the rule of Democrats who had vowed to clean up Congress.

Obama Takes the Wheel: The useless government built Car

From Sunlen Miller

ABC Political Punch

Well it is finally here, the car nobody is waiting for.  This is absolute proof that a government owned company with a political agenda would develop a means of transportation that is utterly useless.  Say is “ain’t so Joe.”  The best your boss could come up with is an electric vehicle, that takes four hours to charge, and gets a whopping 40 miles of drive time for $32,000?  Why not buy an electric golf cart and be done with it.  Rational thoughts while continuing to observe the Obama charade, I’m J.C.

Presidents don’t usually drive themselves anywhere, but today – in a highly unusual move – President Obama got to drive.

Well, only 10 feet. But when you’re president that counts for something.

After touring a GM plant in Hamtramck, Michigan today – Mr. Obama stopped at the end of the assembly line and jokingly asked his secret service agent if he would allow him to get in and drive. After a few jokes – including one from his press secretary who quipped that he hoped the car has airbags since it had been so long since he’d driven – the consensus was that the president could drive.

Ethics, Criminal Complaints filed to disbar Elena Kagan

‘She should not be a justice when she’s defrauded the Supreme Court’

libertyalliance.org

Declaration Alliance has retained noted attorney Larry Klayman to file an ethics complaint seeking to have Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan disbarred from practicing before the court she aspires to join – and possibly subjected to criminal prosecution – for her role in an escalating scandal.
Kagan
Kagan’s political maneuvers while an attorney for President Bill Clinton led to language authored by her becoming accepted as “official findings” of a medical “expert panel.”  Kagan’s inserted language misled the federal courts, including the Supreme Court, into upholding for nearly a decade legal protections for the heinous practice known as partial-birth abortion that 30 states had attempted to ban.

Klayman, founder of the Judicial Watch and Freedom Watch USA public interest law groups, is bringing the complaint at the behest of Declaration Alliance, the national pro-life social welfare organization founded in 1996 by Ambassador Alan Keyes.  The complaint alleges Kagan fraudulently altered an official scientific report used as evidence by the Supreme Court to persuade the justices to overturn bans on partial-birth abortion — and then recently lied about her actions under oath.

Dozens of pro-life organizations are already calling for a Senate investigation of Kagan’s 1997 alterations to an American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) expert report, which was then used by the Supreme Court as justification for overturning Nebraska’s partial-birth abortion ban in 2000.

The Paternalistic President and the Nanny Government

Excellent video and waste of tax payer money.  Does this fool believe that the vast majority of the poor have access to the internet?

The Demographics below indicate that he has once again missed the mark.

New data from the U.S. Census Bureau show there’s a big digital divide in the United States based on education.

A householder who has earned a bachelor’s or advanced degree is 3.5 times more likely to have Internet access than someone who’s a high school dropout, according to an October 2007 Census survey released this week.

Here are the percentages of householders with Internet access based on education:

  • Less than high school graduate: 24 percent
  • High school graduate: 50 percent
  • Some college or associate’s degree: 69 percent
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher degree: 84 percent

The Amnesty Memo

Robert VerBruggen

National Review Online

H/T GG

Well sorry friends, I still believe this is another false flag.  Don’t doubt the memo was written.  This would clearly be an impeachable offense. I say bring it!

According to an internal U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services memo going the rounds of Capitol Hill and obtained by National Review, the agency is considering ways in which it could enact “meaningful immigration reform absent legislative action” — that is, without the consent of the American people through a vote in Congress.

“This memorandum offers administrative relief options to . . . reduce the threat of removal for certain individuals present in the United States without authorization,” it reads.

Also: “In the absence of Comprehensive Immigration Reform, USCIS can extend benefits and/or protections to many individuals and groups by issuing new guidance and regulations, exercising discretion with regard to parole-in-place, deferred action and the issuance of Notices to Appear (NTA), and adopting significant process improvements.”

The people who cast the votes don’t decide an election, the people who count the votes do. -Joseph Stalin

As the rest of us count the days until the November election, Obama’s boss, unrepentant Nazi collaborator, George Soros, is brewing a scheme to pirate the 2012 presidential election.  Still smarting from the trauma of losing to George W. Bush in 2004, Soros is concocting ever more perfidious schemes for ensuring the outcome of our next presidential election.

The world will be a far better place when this asshole is dead.

The phony philanthropist who thinks he’s God is funding the SOS project, conniving to install regime-friendly operatives in Secretaries of State offices nationwide.  Matthew Vadum unveils the plot:
