Obama To Sell US Auto Giant GM To China As Pentagon Looks To Coup

Pakalert

An interesting report prepared by Russia’s Ministry of Industry and Trade for President Medvedev for his visit to China this week states that United States President Barack Obama [photo top left showing him bowing to Chinese Communist leader Hu Jintao] has “agreed in principal” to sell the American governments 61% ownership of US auto giant General Motors (GM) to China’s SAIC Motor Corporation, who has been GM’s partner and instrumental in their success in that Communist Nation and who already owns half of GM’s Indian division.

The American based Gather Business News Channel reporting on this sale of one the United States most revered industrial icons states that Obama is “holding off” on the sale of GM to China until after the November mid-term elections due to the “political backlash” he and his Democratic Party would encounter from their citizens, and as they state:

“The sticky issue is the potential political backlash caused by selling an American icon, which was rescued from failure by the American taxpayers, to a non-American company. When the general public is allowed to purchase stock, buying is not limited to domestic investors. Anyone from foreign companies to sovereign wealth funds can purchase shares.”

More interesting, however, than this trade ministry report is the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) addendum attached to it warning that the United States Military may very well be mounting a coup against Obama to prevent not only the sale of GM to China, but also to protect the United States from what they believe is their current President’s effort to destroy their country from within.

Can Politicians Help Us?

Mises Institute

Kel Kelly

The word “politician” usually comes with a negative connotation. It often brings to mind thieving, lying, corruption, and malfeasance. Nonetheless, most people seem to look to politicians to manage their world for them, to protect them, and to make their lives better. In every instance of local or national elections, citizens are deeply focused on choosing the politician they think will do the best for their community or nation. They seek politicians with experience, knowledge, insights, and ideas. They seek a leader.

“Citizens, in the end, are “helped” by having been given unemployment, higher prices, fewer savings, and an uncertain future.”

But can our elected officials, even if honorable and well-intentioned, really improve our lives? Let’s take a look at the various possible avenues of assistance.

Football coach fired from teaching position for writing a patriotic Song

The song is called, “When You’re Holding A Hammer, Everything Looks Like A Nail.” It is a reference to Glover’s frustrations with the current administration and President Obama. Glover co-wrote the tune with a parent on the Grassland Middle School football team. He never thought sending it out to friends, family and player’s parents could put the hammer on the nail of his job with the school.

“Here we are a week before the season starts and they call and say I am no longer with the staff. It’s devastating for me,” said Glover.

It all stems from an email Glover sent through his personal Yahoo account.

“I sent it 99 percent of the people in my inbox– all the way from my mom to people I haven’t spoken to in years,” said Glover.

But the email, with a link to his new song, went out to a hand full of parents of kids on the Grassland Football Team.

Within hours, parents called the school to complain of the politically charged lyrics and Glover said the principal at Grassland Middle School told the head football coach to release Glover from his position with the team.

Isn’t it funny that a school will finally fire a teacher at the snap of it’s fingers and it’s for a song a parent thinks is offensive yet there isn’t one 4 letter word used in the song. This isn’t a teacher who is having an affair with an underage student, this isn’t a teacher on drugs or alcohol, this isn’t a poor performance firing but a firing for a political song. I wonder if this would’ve happened if it was an anti-Bush song? Just saying…..

Listen to this really offensive song.

Here’s a link to Brian Glover’s website for the song – Holding a Hammer

Let’s all take a nice long vacation congress Is

by Jim Campbell

It’s bad enough that the Pelosi lead 111th Congress will be leaving town, with most democrats  distancing themselves from the Obama/Pelosi/Reid agenda; to this point it appears Nancy Pelosi will not hold a vote on extending the George W. Bush tax cuts.  This once again leaves business further in the dark making it very difficult to plan for the future until after the election on November 2nd.

Since 2000, Barbara Boxer has had to go on 18 special interest funded trips to such far-flung destinations as Honolulu, Hawaii; Punta Mita, Mexico; the Grand Cayman Islands and Florence, Italy, just to name several of many what was she doing?

Her visits to these exotic locations uniquely qualify her to recommend many places to see again before the voters supporting Carly in California force her to look for work.

A more recent UCLA Poll show Fiorina down by 5 points largely the result of heavy Boxer television ads before the poll was taken.

Can a case be made that these vacation junkets had anything to do with California State business.?  Where is the  tie in at the national level?  Does Hawaii have Nukes?  Is al-Qaeda running rampant in the Cayman Islands?

Two different approaches to governing and fiscal Sanity

By Jim Campbell

In Monday’s edition of the San Francisco Chronicle, AP writer Julie Watson, discussed how Carly Fiorina plans to lead California and the federal government in the direction of a sound economic policy.

Carly Fiorina, the former Hewlett-Packard Co. CEO and Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer are in a close contest less than five weeks before Election Day and are trying to position themselves as the one better suited to help turn around the nation’s struggling economy.

Interestingly “call me senator” Boxer’s liberal voting history has contributed greatly to the current economic situation in CA and our country.  Now, she wants the voter to believe she “deserves” another six-year term.  In California, the current unemployment rate is 12.4%.  The policies of Barbara Boxer are part of the cause.

Boxer’s campaign manager said although Carly supports limited spending, she would also fund tax cuts for the wealthy by reducing the amount of money available for student loans and highway improvements.  Clearly the Boxer campaign doesn’t understand that cutting taxes for everyone while decreasing spending is one of the most beneficial ways to jump-start the economy.  The Boxer campaign claims that it would reduce the money available for student loans and highway improvement are not substantiated.

Texas: Former SEIU Member Registers 23,207 Fraudulent Voters

Warner Todd Huston

Emerging Corruption

Former Service Employees International Union (SEIU) member Steve Caddle of Houston, Texas has been caught registering 23,207 fake voters in Harris County alone due to the hard detective work of Catherine Engelbrecht and her “True the Vote” project.

This is one of the best examples of what good citizen activism inspired by Tea Party principles can do for their community.

Catherine Engelbrecht was sick and tired of the vote fraud perpetrated by unions and Democrats and set out to expose it herself. Along with many friends who donated their time, computers, and sweat, they’ve uncovered thousands upon thousands of illegal Democrat “voters” in Texas.

Dem Whip: GOP majority will issue birther subpoenas

By Jordan Fabian
Why? Only crazy people wonder if there is anything Obama might be hiding, as in his entire life.  Subpoenas may fly, cover up artists careers will die, all because they have participated in the biggest cover up while creating the greatest Constitutional crisis in the history of our great republic.  What say you Lt. Col Terry Lakin?
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it, I’m J.C.

House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.) warned Republicans will investigate President Obama’s birthplace if they take over Congress.

Clyburn, the third-ranking Democrat in the House, said Republicans will grind the government to a halt by issuing subpoenas against the Obama administration over a number of issues if they take power. He predicted that “gridlock” in Congress would “define” Obama’s first term if Republicans win the House, but expressed confidence his party would prevail.

Clyburn noted that Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), the ranking Republican on the House Oversight panel, has said will will issue “subpoenas everywhere” if Republicans win the majority.

Obama and Ahmadinejad to Face Off at U.N.

President Barack Obama and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad are set to take their political rivalry to the U.N. General Assembly Thursday amid efforts to renew negotiations over Iran’s suspect nuclear program.

Ahmadinejad, who regularly challenges American presidents to debate him in front of the world’s media, has a history of using the annual summit to make provocative statements.

In 2008, the Iranian leader called Israel a “Zionist regime” of murderers, igniting outrage. Last year, his comments were so outrageous they prompted a walkout by other nations.

Obama was scheduled to speak Thursday morning and Ahmadinejad in the afternoon. Others scheduled to address the general assembly included leaders from China, Turkey and Iraq.
