Sarah Palin is a much deeper thinker and leader than her “you betctha and the pit bull with lipstick” comments focused upon by her nay sayer’s would lead the reader to believe.
In the accompanying video on the left side bar, Governor, Sara Palin gives thoughtful reasoned comments of the recent acts of horror committed by a deranged young man resulting in the death and injury of innocents.
Governor Palin discusses the issue in light of the exceptional nature the US Constitution, and how Americans transfer power through spirited debate and not blood shed, the U.S. is an example to the entire world.
The media of course, is first to attempt to politicize seeing the event with their perspective, the spin was on. As an example, was their failure to use the entire video in talking about the gun sights used on districts, without mentioning the Democrats were first to have done the same using targets in the 2004 election.
Politicians have use many terms that have as their basis a military meaning. Campaign, War Room, tactics, strategy and target are but several.
“Right wing extremism” was suggested with the incomprehensible statement of Sheriff Dupnik the Pima County Sheriff who accused “Rush Limbaugh as being the cause”
It’s beyond time that the United States puts this type of nonsense to bed; it’s time to use this tragedy as the beginning of a healing process.
The reader must also be aware that Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, (D-AZ) is a staunch advocate of the Second Amendment, and prided herself in being a “pretty good shot with her Glock.”
The U.S. Federal District Judge in Arizona, John M. Roll who succumbed that day, was also pro Second Amendment, both he and his wife went to the firing range frequently.
Tragically, the nine year old girl Tanya Green who died that day from a direct shot to the chest, have parents that have said they want no additional legislation to bar freedom from individual protection.
Is it worth pondering why in a crowd of Democrats none were carrying a weapon? Arizona is a concealed carry/ without permit state. One or two trained marksmen would have conceivably greatly prevented want less death and injury.
Clearly unable to separate reason form emotion, Congress, Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-N.Y.), pounced on the shooting massacre in Tucson, Ariz., Sunday, promising to introduce legislation as soon as Monday. Foget about the facts on gun ownership, according to the recently departed Obama administration Chief of Staff Rhambo, no crisis must go to waste.
Without out attempting to further politicize this tragedy, the question must be asked, in spite to the overwhelming amount of evidence demonstrating crimes of violence dramatically decrease when citizens are armed for self- protection, there are certain elements among the electorate that have difficulty dealing with facts, yet live in the world of what they hope it would be.
Perhaps if a couple of them were carrying a weapon at this event lives would have been saved and injuries avoided.
Then again, those who continue to shy away from facts as it pertains to the 2nd Amendment and the prohibition of weapons may very well believe “the misspelled word” must be blamed on the pen or pencil that wrote the word.
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it, I’m J.C.

I fully support Govenor Pallin statements in her speech. The negativity of trash radio jocks, the mudslinging that permeates our political processes is not the manner in which we as a nation should subjected to. This denigration of societal concepts and figures only leads to the psychosis evidenced in Arizona such a short time ago!
It’s a good article and wonderful video showing Sarah at her finest. It’s comforting to know that she can speak without screeching and even make sense. I have nothing against Sarah. I just don’t want another incompetent as president of this country. She has time to prove herself. I hope she will do that many more times before the big election.
Thanks Loral, appreciate your comments, Jim
Hi Jay: I agree with you completely, you can’t believe the grief this article received when I was published in the National Examiner. No where in the article did I suggest that she is my choice for a presidential candidate, just made the observation that the Governor show calm an leadership. The members of the media, old guard Republicans and virtually all Dems ares totally freaked out by just the mention of her name. I’d put nothing past Sarah Palin. Thanks, J.C.
