OCR or Optical Character Recognition Software is not used for what this “expert” claims. I’ve searched his credentials, Jean-Claude Tremblay is an expert if his bio is accurate.
The software is used for character recognition and would not be used in this case to make a determination of the illegitimate way the certificate was made. It could read the characters on it not deconstruct the apparently fraudulent new document.
The White House has released President Obama’s long-form birth certificate, saying the document is “proof positive” the president was born in Hawaii. Big problem as the video clearly demonstrates OCR software could not have been used to determine authenticity.
So if we have this right, one Obama fan comes up with a strange explanation for why the new certificate is not a fake when now a least ten other experts have shown Photo Shopped layers and how the form was put together.
Perhaps the story was written to provide cover for the over opinionated Bill O’Reilly? The plot thickens………….

It didn’t take long for some of President Obama’s doubters to claim the long-awaited birth certificate posted online by the White House on Wednesday had been altered or might be a fake.
But a leading software expert says there’s no doubt about its authenticity, and he dismisses claims of fraud as flat-out wrong.
The doubters have latched onto the idea that Adobe Illustrator — the premier program for computer graphic artists — “reveals” evidence of document manipulation in the Obama birth certificate. They note Illustrator reveals nine separate layers of the document, and claim it’s “proof” the file has been altered.
But that’s not so, says Jean-Claude Tremblay, a leading software trainer and Adobe-certified expert, who has years of experience working with and teaching Adobe Illustrator.
“You should not be so suspicious about this,” Tremblay told FoxNews.com, dismissing the allegations.

He said the layers cited by doubters are evidence of the use of common, off-the-shelf scanning software — not evidence of a forgery. “I have seen a lot of illustrator documents that come from photos and contain those kind of clippings—and it looks exactly like this,” he said.
Tremblay explained that the scanner optical character recognition (OCR) software attempts to translate characters or words in a photograph into text. He said the layers cited by the doubters shows that software at work – and nothing more.
“When you open it in Illustrator it looks like layers, but it doesn’t look like someone built it from scratch. If someone made a fake it wouldn’t look like this,” he said.“Some scanning software is trying to separate the background and the text and splitting element into layers and parts of layers.”
Tremblay also said that during the scanning process, instances where the software was unable to separate text fully from background led to the creation of a separate layer within the document. This could be places where a signature runs over the line of background, or typed characters touch the internal border of the document.
“I know that you can scan a document from a scanner most of the time it will appear as one piece, but that doesn’t mean that there’s no software that’s doing this kind of stuff,” he said, adding that it’s really quite common.
“I’d be more afraid it’d be fake if it was one in piece. It would be harder to check if it’s a good one if it’s a fake,” Tremblay said.

I received an email from a very smart person who double checked the hospital and got this: “Kauikeolani Children’s Hospital opened in 1909 named for Emma Kauikeolani Napoleon Mahelona (1862–1931), the wife of Albert Spencer Wilcox (1844–1919). In 1978, it merged with Kapiʻolani Maternity Home to become Kapiʻolani Medical Center for Women and Children.” If Obama was born prior to 1978, it would not have been listed as Kap’olani Medical Center & Gynecological Hospital on his birth certificate.” This makes sense does it not?

So, FoxNews.com finds a “leading software expert” to declare Obama’s birth certificate legitimate? Jean-Claude Tremblay, “a leading software trainer” states, “You should not be so suspicious of this,” and blames OCR for the multiple layering on the electronic image.
Tremblay, a Canadian, has a computer training firm called ProficioGrafik. Tremblay may not be the most objective judge of Obama documents, having posted at Amazon.com a glowing review of an Obama suck-up book called, Yes We Did! An inside look at how social media built the Obama brand.
He wrote, “Rahaf Harfoush have done a marvelous job in this book to paint not only one of the most important moment in the history of the USA but also how social media can be use to engage peoples into action. Inspiring because it reveal how social media can be used not only to build online network, but help put peoples get into action in their community to make a lasting change. Yes They Did! Yes We Can! Whatever is our goals.”
Perhaps next, Fox can get White House advisor Valerie Jarrett to confirm that Obama is not using a stolen Sopcial Security Number. Or maybe Fox can get George Soros to declare that $1.65 trillion deficits are no cause for alarm. And Michelle Obama can confirm that there is no hanky-panky going on between Obama and his “body servant,” Reggie Love!
My question STILL is, WHY did it take so long to produce his birth certificate???? Where there’s SMOKE……There’s FIRE…..Lies, lies, and MORE lies!!!!!

4. Notice the address of the Hospital changed a day later? What no there were no rooms in the “INN”? So they moved the hospital on Stilts to make it appear the were rooms for the Chosen one?

What’s your point by saying that his “daddy was NOT an American?”
Maybe sometime you should bother to actually look up the requirements for being a natural-born US citizen. It requires that ONE of your parents be a US citizen. What actually makes no difference one way or the other is where Obama was born. He could have been born in Kenya, Baghdad, Moscow, or Islamabad and he’d still have been born a US citizen.
I saw a site on facebook that said they could make you a birth certificate if you lost your or whatever. Obama could very easily have done that. I have seen an article that quested the age of his father and when he came into the United States and seem the think the date of birth for Obama is wrong. So, I just don’t know. I tend to think that he might have just had one made to make it look like he has one and he knows the media will not have it checked.
Now doubt about that.
Nicole you are so incredibly naive, a selective reader. The only reason he hasn’t been impeached is because he is a half black guy, and most of Washington and the Supreme Court know what was going down. The plan was to drag it out, and hope the first black president would do a good job. Well he hasn’t he has more criminal issues facing him that the entire area of citizenship will not be an issue. He will be indicted for multiple felonies and put in prison if there is any justice left in our society. Many will join him and this might be a wake up call to future politicians who refuse to uphold the oath the swore to protect and defend the Constitution and the US from all enemies foreign and domestic.

You are correct as usual Lisa, also Kapiolani Hospital was not know as Kapiolani Hopital but Kapiolani Women’s and Children’s hospital another fraud. This has now moved in my opinion from impeachment but criminal prosecution.
Oh absolutely, done under duress, as polls showed 68% of Americans didn’t believe he was born here. Making an obvious fake to keep the issue on the birther issue.
