“Regulatory and policy uncertainties in recent months created significant near-term excess supply and price erosion,” Solyndra’s CEO said.
A California-based solar company that received a $535 million loan guarantee from the Obama administration announced Wednesday that it will shut down.
The company, Solyndra Inc., said Wednesday it would suspend its manufacturing operations and lay off 1,100 employees effective immediately. The company said it intends to file a petition for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
“Regulatory and policy uncertainties in recent months created significant near-term excess supply and price erosion,” Solyndra CEO Brian Harrison said in a statement. “Raising incremental capital in this environment was not possible. This was an unexpected outcome and is most unfortunate.”
So Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas must recuse himself in the pending case of Obama care because he is an extremist? What do we call Justice Sotomayor who said in her congressional hearing that the gun laws of our country were a matter of law and she would not tamper with the Second Amendment. First time to test her credibility was in the Heller Case, she flunked voting against the Second Amendment and the Constitution.

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas features in a recent New Yorker piece by Jeffrey Toobin on Supreme Court jurisprudence, titled “Partners” and subtitled “Will Clarence and Virginia Thomas succeed in killing Obama’s health-care plan?”
In the glossy pages of the New Yorker, in graceful prose and with good reporting, the dreams and nightmares of the admirers of President Obama and his policies lay exposed.
The dreams include Ryan Lizza’s report last April in which he quoted an Obama adviser saying the president’s policy on Libya was “leading from behind.” This week, as Tripoli seemed about to fall, the magazine’s editor David Remnick hailed Obama’s “calculated modesty.”
The nightmare appeared in last week’s issue, in Jeffrey Toobin’s lengthy article on Supreme Court jurisprudence, titled “Partners” and subtitled “Will Clarence and Virginia Thomas succeed in killing Obama’s health-care plan?”
It’s possible to read Toobin’s article as a partisan hit job, echoing the demands of 74 Democratic House members that Justice Thomas recuse himself from sitting on a case challenging the constitutionality of Obamacare because of his wife’s involvement in the Tea Party movement.
A caveat here to begin. It is part Muslim culture to lie and overstate reality. With that in mind please be the judge of the article below.
The next elections in Egypt will be held in September. With Obama’s penchant for talking he might have convinced President Hosni Mubarak to loosen his reign and begin providing more for Egypt’s masses. On August 13, 2011, the Egyptian daily Roz Al-Yousef published an interview[1] with Sheikh ‘Adel Shehato, a senior official in Egyptian Islamic Jihad (EIJ), who, on March 23, 2011, was freed from prison in the wake of the Egyptian revolution. He was imprisoned in 1991 upon returning from a three-year sojourn in Afghanistan.
In the interview, Shehato expressed complete opposition to democracy “because it is not the faith of the Muslims, but the faith of the Jews and Christians.” He said that although the youth of the Arab revolutions have not declared the implementation of shari’a as one of their goals, the mujahideen nonetheless identify with their aspiration to overthrow the Arab rulers, whom they had always considered “infidels who must be killed because they do not rule according to the shari’a.” He added, however, that “once Allah’s law is applied, the role of the people will end and Allah will reign supreme.” He went on to say that although he supports Al-Qaeda’s ideology, shari’a law would not be enforced by violence but by da’wa (preaching), whereas violence would be used only against the infidel Arab rulers.

Before writing this column I talked with Orly Taitz on the phone at her office. She assured me the WND article was accurate. She has got to be once again disgusted by Lamberth’s decision, and equally in the arrogant way he stated it. This guy is in serious need of a dirt nap.
Do we need further proof that we have become a society no longer based on the law and our Constitution? Royce Lamberth’s arrogance in handling this case require that he be impeached Immediately. Will it happen? Not likely, after all he is a Federal Judge in Washington D.C. Who would start the impeachment proceedings?
It is highly probably that Lamberth is either a far left progressive that makes his own law from the bench, bought and paid for, or doing the bidding for the NWO crowd that put him in office in the first place.

Announcing it’s “not her lucky day,” a federal judge in Washington, D.C., has told an eligibility attorney he has dismissed her case demanding information from the Social Security Administration regarding President Obama’s Social Security Number, sought because of suspicions it may be fraudulent.

The case was filed by California attorney Orly Taitz, who has brought many of the major court challenges to Obama’s eligibility based on a lack of evidence that he meets the U.S. Constitution’s requirement that a president be a “natural-born citizen.”

Having a background in medicine, I would have liked to have been able to read the actual article that appeared in the JAMA. ( I’m not a member) I did see a review by a Dr. Joseph Marcola who’s claim to fame is herbal, holistic and homeopathic medicine.
In reading several accounts that had data that had been analyzed and had statistical significance it seems that the the U.S. Military has been, unknowingly, providing anti-psychotic drugs that were no more effective than a placebo for quite some time.

Last week I sent the Department of Defense questions sparked by a series of new reports appearing in American, British and Australian medical journals questioning the efficacy of mental health drugs so widely prescribed by our young and old veterans.

The story was entitled, “Drugs Found Ineffective for Veterans’ Stress”: ”I think it’s a very important study” given how frequently the drugs have been prescribed, said Dr. Charles Hoge, a senior scientist at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. He added, “It definitely calls into question the use of antipsychotics in general for PTSD.”

Ron Paul joins Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday to discuss his rise in the mainstream presidental polls (to #3 on the latest Gallup) and the hot issues of the day. It is impossible not to notice how these interviews have changed. The normally belligerent neocon host was respectful as Ron smoothly and convincingly stated his positions.
Since this interview coincided with the media hysteria about Hurricane Irene, Wallace first asked Ron why he was opposed to FEMA. As the representative of a Gulf Coast district, Ron knows full-well the damage the weather can do. Indeed, he says: “It has the worst reputation for a bureaucracy ever. It hinders local people keeps people away from their homes. It’s a system of central economic planning that is deeply flawed…..and it’s broke.”
It’s just a matter of time, this is so typical, tossing those carrying out the orders to the wolves. Not this time, Holder has committed perjury before congress. With luck Holder will cut a deal leading to Obama. Now that would be a reason for impeachment.
Acting ATF Director Kenneth Melson has been reassigned to a lesser post in the Justice Department and the U.S. attorney for Arizona was also pushed out Tuesday as fallout from Operation Fast and Furious reached new heights.
Melson’s step down from his role as head of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to the position of senior adviser on forensic science in the Department of Justice’s Office of Legal Programs is effective by close of business Tuesday, administration officials announced. U.S. Attorney for the District of Minnesota B. Todd Jones will replace Melson.
Kenneth Melson has been acting director of the ATF since 2009.
U.S. Attorney for Arizona Dennis Burke, one of the officials closely tied to Fast and Furious, is also a casualty in a shakeup tied to the botched gun-running program. Burke was on the hot seat last week with congressional investigators and, according to several sources, got physically sick during questioning and could not finish his session.
