America should listen to Paul Ryan

Human Events

Starr Parker

Comment by Jim Campbell

Starr Parker is an incredible woman. She is the founder and president of CURE, the Center for Urban Renewal and Education, a 501c3 think tank which explores and promotes market based public policy to fight poverty, as well as author of the newly revised Uncle Sam’s Plantation: How Big Government Enslaves America’s Poor and What We Can do About It.

Please listen to her and Paul Ryan, they both come from divergent roots but certainly know what ales America and have come up with serious propositions to turn our country in the right direction once again.

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it, I’m J.C. and I approve this message.

Last week, one of the Republican Party’s young stars, Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wisc), spoke at the Heritage Foundation and gave forth his vision of America and what we need to do today to restore our vitality.

Listening to Ryan, I’m reminded of the late, great Congressman Jack Kemp, for whom he once worked. He talks about America as an “opportunity” society, driven by the ideals of individual freedom, limited government, traditional values, and free enterprise.

To sum up his working hypotheses: These are the values that made America great. Our economic machine is sputtering today as result of departure from these values. Today’s task is to restore them and get America growing again, which will benefit everyone.

Smoking-Gun Document Ties Policy To Housing Crisis

Investors Business Daily

By PAUL SPERRY

Comment by Jim Campbell

As with everything he says, Obama is full of a diaper full of the brown stuff.  So he blames Wall Street, supports their cause, hires Street Bankers for his finance team and people wonder why we are in trouble.

Here’s a clue and it is irrefutable. The Bush administration held hearings in 2005 alerting these folks that the financials didn’t add up.  Mr. Barney Frank, Ms. Maxine Waters,  Henry Waxman and Christopher Dodd thought it prudent to lie to the committee, swearing it was a witch hunt, fun failing to mention they received sweet heart deals from Country Wide Savings and Loan, one if not the first to go under.  All the while protecting the fiasco of their ill-gotten gains and contributions to their campaign war chests.

If there is any thing close to ethics in the House Ethics Committee, Frank and Waters will be doing hard time in a Federal Penitentiary.

President Obama says the Occupy Wall Street protests show a “broad-based frustration” among Americans with the financial sector, which continues to kick against regulatory reforms three years after the financial crisis.

“You’re seeing some of the same folks who acted irresponsibly trying to fight efforts to crack down on the abusive practices that got us into this in the first place,” he complained earlier this month.

But what if government encouraged, even invented, those “abusive practices”?

Rewind to 1994. That year, the federal government declared war on an enemy — the racist lender — who officials claimed was to blame for differences in homeownership rate, and launched what would prove the costliest social crusade in U.S. history.

Calling all nit wits and ne’er-do-wells: You really want to occupy in force give Budweiser a call and have them Hitch up the Clydesdales

Guest Author Poet

Editing bells and whistles in Jimmineze!

Comment by Jim Campbell

For the most part, each of the people Poet is discussing would clearly have a different perspective if they did a tour or three in Iraq or Afghanistan.  Every generation since Vietnam hasn’t a clue about service to our country. Is there any wonder the believe their freedom is “free?”

With most of the world rioting, the direct cause being failed social programs, as in socialism they can’t seem to grasp that their desires are all built upon the sinking ship once called communism.

* Definition of NE’ER-DO-WELL

: an idle worthless person
— ne’er–do–well adjective

History will remember Occupy Wall Street as the High Point of the Tofu revolution.

Even today after all the media hype, the free publicity and personal appearance from the Hollywood bubble bunch and the news media’s own El Ingenious Hidalgo Quixote de la Mancha AKA Geraldo Riviera and Georg Soros paying people to show up, they could not gin up any real support.

Just Google the number of images for Wall Street then compare it to the numbers of images of Gnomes.    It’s just so much Political Bull Biscuits

  HOW TERRORIZING

Pete Dutro could not pick up a clue if he were carpet bombed with them for 72 continuous hours.  That’s right “there are no leaders,” talk about the blind leading the ignorant.

This guy is living proof that “you can’t fix stupid”  He’s among the functionally brain dead that is using capitalism in a effort to prop up his socialist/Marxist philosophy.  Can their be a bigger joke than their advanced education should be free and they should be forgiven their debt?  After viewing the video, I’m still LMAO.

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it, I’m J.C. and I approve this message.

Just makes me want to Blow my Rice . The hype around this bunch of Nit Wits is trying to scare old folks. But wait, that’s right they have a cause. “CRAP” I’ve seen more cause in pursuit of a good BUZZ.  See below for a good example of Organizing for a Cause.

Things you absolutely know are in the Constitution buy absolutely aren’t

Have you ever heard someone say, “That’s unconstitutional!” or “That’s my constitutional right!” and wondered if they were right? You might be surprised how often people get it wrong. You might also be surprised how often people get it right. Your best defense against misconception is reading and knowing your Constitution.

A lot of people presume a lot of things about the Constitution. Some are true, some are not. This page will detail some of the things that people think are in the Constitution, but are not.

One critique of this page is that it is full of nit-picks. Slavery, for example, may not be “in” the original Constitution, but it is in the original Constitution — the word may not have been there, but the concept was. This is absolutely true. But by studying the words and coming to know them intimately, we gain a better understanding of our history and how some arguments about the Constitution endure.

The Divider vs. the Thinker

The Wall Street Journal

Written By: PEGGY NOONAN

Commentary by Jim Campbell

Using Eric Holder as the tip of his spear, Obama and the progressives in congress are the most divisive in history.  Be it color, financial status, adhering to the Constitution, this group of miscreants are due to be shown the door.  This is classic Rules for Radicals,” noting more.  After all, this is the party that hasn’t had a new ideas since Woodrow Wilson.  They attempt to march onward toward socialism a model that has failed everywhere on earth it has been tried.

People are increasingly fearing the divisions within, even the potential coming apart of, our country. Rich/poor, black/white, young/old, red/blue: The things that divide us are not new, yet there’s a sense now that the glue that held us together for more than two centuries has thinned and cracked with age. That it was allowed to thin and crack, that the modern era wore it out.

Oh no say it ain’t so!

This is the glue that once held our country together. The most divisive administration in the History of the United States has done everything to divide us. When they are shown the door in 2012 “We the People” will get back to our core principles.

What was the glue? A love of country based on a shared knowledge of how and why it began; a broad feeling among our citizens that there was something providential in our beginnings; a gratitude that left us with a sense that we should comport ourselves in a way unlike the other nations of the world, that more was expected of us, and not unjustly.

Despirately seeking a photo op?

H/T Dales Out Of Order Blog

Commentary by Jim Campbell

Alright I can see George W. Bush or Bill Clinton going out to buy pumpkins with their daughters when they were young, but I’m sorry taking the round mound of sound, MoooooooSheelllll out just to get some exposure is definitely so sad.

At 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue the lines between trick and treat are being blurred beyond recognition. White House occupiers Barack and Michelle Obama are getting all reanimated over the approach of Liberal Christmas. Halloween, the one night of the year when extortion by threat of vandalism is alive in the streets. The rest of the year, it’s just called domestic policy. –Dale

President Barack Obama paid a visit to Jay Leno on his late night talk show. The president talked politics, reality TV and how his family celebrates Halloween. It should really come as no surprise that First Lady Michelle Obama prefers to give out raisins and fruits on Halloween instead of candy. The President joked that he is a bit worried that the White House might get egged.

Perhaps Obama can star in a remake of “Desparately Seeking Susan Barry?”

“‘The White House is gonna get egged if this keeps up — you need to throw some candy in there!” Obama says he told his Wife. Hopefully White House trick-or-treaters will find a treat or two in their bag this year, instead of the usual healthy snacks!
