In yet but another photo-op the man incapable of giving a “heart-felt” 2.34 minute speech without a teleprompter disgraces all who served in Vietnam
Indeed Obama made a fool out of himself on Memorial while pretending to honor the memory of those who died, were severely wounded, crippled and maimed along with those who endure the demons of PTSD and their families.
Personally I know of Vietnam Veterans who have “put their medals away” and to a man they would gladly place them where this complete phony keeps his head 95% of the time.
Words from an individual who has continued to pander to the anti-war let mean nothing and doubtlessly have fallen on deaf ears among those living and the dead. Yet in doing so, it must be remembered………..
Absolutely zero paradox above!
Fifty years after Vietnam
In his speech at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C., President Obama did more than just mark Memorial Day; he began the 50th commemoration of that conflict and those who served in one of America’s longest wars.
Fifty years ago, American forces stepped up operations in Vietnam. During the conflict, more than three million Americans served in the Vietnam War, and more than 58,000 American patriots gave their lives. And when U.S. forces returned home, too many never received the hero’s welcome they deserved.
Yesterday, President Obama told their story as it should have been told all along — a story of patriotism, honor, and courage. Here’s a short video to mark this important moment that you can share to help set the record straight and honor the service of Americans who fought in Vietnam:
The only question remaining is, will the uneducated and ignorant who voted for Obama vote against him in 2012, thereby signify a belief in freedom from tyranny that the true hero’s above were so willing to make the ultimate sacrifice?
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it, I’m J.C. and I approve this message.
