What is this you are about to here from a Wisconsin County Sheriff? “Take a hand gun course, you have a duty to protect yourself until the police arrive?”

That’s got to have Obama’s thong in a wad.  LMAO.

This exemplifies two things, one, Obama’s complete misunderstanding of the 2nd Amendment and second when liberal counties run out of money, they are forced to lay off even unionized employees that are  unionized members of the police and sheriffs department.

What was that Margaret Thatcher said about socialism?  Oh here it is….

Makes you proud to be an American doesn’t it?

We will all be much prouder when Obama is kicked to the curb by whatever legal means necessary.

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it, I’m J.C. and I approve this message.

The Blaze

Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke Jr. has a message for residents: learn how to use a gun.

With budget cutbacks putting a strain on law enforcement, simply calling 911 might not cut it in a life-or-death or situation, Clarke said in a new radio ad this month. Safety is “no longer a spectator sport,” he says. “I need you in the game.”

“With officers laid off and furloughed, simply calling 911 and waiting is no longer your best option,” Clark adds. “You can beg for mercy from a violent criminal, hide under the bed, or you can fight back. But are you prepared?”

“Consider taking a certified safety course in handling a firearm so you can defend yourself until we get there. You have a duty to protect yourself and your family. We’re partners now. Can I count on you?” he asks.

The spot has quickly earned criticism, including from the Milwaukee Deputy Sheriffs’ Association and Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett.

Milwaukee Deputy Sheriffs’ Association president Roy Felber told the Associated Press it sounds like a call to vigilantism, while Barrett’s spokeswoman said it sounded like Clarke was “auditioning for the next Dirty Harry movie.”

  1. People have been in the mindset that if a crime is being committed all the should, or need to do is ” CALL THE POLICE ” and their problem will be solved. Erroneous at Best..Especially with cities cutting back on ALL of their services, police included..My question, what the HELL can a police officer do to help YOU 20 minutes AFTER the crime had been committed ??. What if the crimes are Robbery, Rape or even Murder ????? The FACT is there is NOTHING HE CAN DO TO PROTECT YOU AT THE TIME OF THE COMMISSION OF THE CRIME.. And what are we to do then..??. Buy a gun and learn how to shoot proficiently.. At least YOU will have a chance of protecting yourself and family….

  2. Even the most lame of our society respect the power of the gun, be safe, own, learn how to operate your gun well !
