Participating in this type of charade is probably more emblematic of our dire economic situation. People will sell what they have or can steal for food.
Of course the delusions of the left rarely if ever think of the unintended consequences of their actions.
Participating in a gun buy back because you believe that the criminals have too many guns is like having yourself castrated because you believe that the neighbors have too many kids.
Why not order physicians to cut of people’s hands so they can’t fire the weapon.
Lost upon the delusional is the fact that guns don’t kill people, people kill and no amount of legislation will change that.
Was Nicole Simpson brutally murdered with a gun?
Did Timothy McVeigh use one in the Oklahoma City Bombing?

Where will the criminals in our government arrange to sell the weapons they buy back with out tax dollars next? They did a great job with operation Gun Runner, i.e., Fast and Furious, and now we know the Benghazi cover up was in part based because the compound was basically there as a gun running operation so that the CIA could covertly sell guns to al Qaeda to be used in Syria.

What makes you think that if the guns used in Fast and Ferious were to gin up support for gun bans why is is it such a streach to believe that the gun buy back program is not taking those very gus and supplying them to our street gangs for the very same reason . Remember “no questions ask” and I have herd from my congressman that there is no Auditing of these programs .
What? The political ruling class SELL the buy-back guns? Don’t be silly. If they actually get any guns that WORK, our outraged gun grabbers will either KEEP them or give them to friends!!
