In the interviews that are included with this video, Newt not only shreds Reid and Pelosi but explains why they believe lying is legitimate if one is a democrat.

In the second video he reveals that for the first time in history Richard Trumka’s Union, the AFL/CIO is not endorsing a candidate.  A direct reflection of the memberships distrust of Obama.  Classic and vintage Newt!

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich accused House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of demonstrating a “level of hypocrisy” that the GOP “can’t match” with their attempts to paint the Republicans as the political party of the rich.

TheDC asked Gingrich how he responds when he hears Democratic leaders like Reid and Pelosi say the Republicans only care about the wealthy at the expense of everyone else.

“First of all, this is a politics that goes all the way back to William Jennings Bryan. It is in the genetic code of the liberal wing of the Democratic Party. They say it every four years and have forever. It is ironic when a Nancy Pelosi who is a multimillionaire says it. It’s a little bit like John Kerry saying it,” Gingrich told The Daily Caller in a video interview. Complete article below.

Winston Churchill Believed That “Nothing in history was ever settled except by wars,”

Adolf Hitler and Winston Churchill never met, and who knows how it might have changed the course of history in the 20th century if the Nazi had made a different decision in the spring of 1932.

He was already standing in the lobby of the Grand Hotel Continental in Max Joseph Strasse in Munich, unshaven, exhausted from his election campaign, wearing a shabby trench coat. In another room, Churchill was dining with his family and members of his entourage, waiting for Hitler.

The short, stout Briton, the scion of one of England’s most important families, was already famous. He was a successful journalist and author of bestsellers, and before World War I he had already served as home secretary, president of the board of trade and first lord of the admiralty (head of the navy). During World War I, he was appointed minister of munitions, then secretary of state for war and secretary of state for air. After the war, he became secretary of state for the colonies and, finally, served as chancellor of the Exchequer from 1924 to 1929. The British Isles had not seen someone with such an illustrious career in a long time.

Romney and Bain Capital: the Obama campaign’s newest ad put in context

The claim that Romney helped create more than 100,000 jobs is difficult to prove. The campaign has said the figure comes from current statistics on three companies that Romney helped start or expand — Staples (89,000 jobs), Sports Authority (15,000 jobs) and Domino’s (7,900 jobs). However, the companies themselves, as opposed to Romney and Bain, may be responsible for the actual job creation since Bain’s initial investment.

For the sake of argument let’s cut the number in half.  Obama has created no new net jobs with the exception of growing the government.

Anyone who watches the pro-Obama videos of the workers who suffered can’t help but be moved.

But Romney and his supporters point to the other side of the story – the many successful companies that Bain Capital helped get off the ground.

Tens of thousands of people are now employed by those companies, including Sports Authority, Staples, Domino’s Pizza and Bright Horizons, a child care company.

His frequently quoted number of creating 100,000 in new jobs has not been substantiated.  (More below)

A DAM big point was missed here by all: The land in question belongs to the progeny of Karl Marx, doubtless the two beavers were direct descendents.

So please get this straight: Marxist notions of collectivization and redistribution of the property of the bourgeois puts it on a collision course with the economic philosophy of Capitalism and free markets, and also with the social-governmental philosophies related to Democracy, in the oldest, pre-Marxism sense of that word. Ergo, lawyer speak nothing is ours!

This is an actual letter sent to a man named Ryan DeVries regarding a pond on his property. It was sent by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Quality, State of Pennsylvania . This guy’s response is hilarious, but read The State’s letter before you get to the response letter.

Dear Mr. DeVries:

It has come to the attention of the Department of Environmental Quality that there has been recent unauthorized activity on the above referenced parcel of property. You have been certified as the legal landowner and/or contractor who did the following unauthorized activity:

Construction and maintenance of two wood debris dams across the outlet stream of Spring Pond.

A permit must be issued prior to the start of this type of activity.. A review of the Department’s files shows that no permits have been issued Therefore, the Department has determined that this activity is in violation of Part 301, Inland Lakes and Streams, of the Natural Resource and Environmental Protection Act, Act 451 of the Public Acts of 1994, being sections 324.30101 to 324.30113 of the Pennsylvania Compiled Laws, annotated.
