Force subject to ‘involuntary calls to active duty’ during ‘public crises’
As I have suggested in several posts below, Pelosi, Reid, and Obama are the personification of evil. It is doubtful that their evil minds had anything to do with the writing of this bill. No one knows for certain that this bill was developed by unelected czars, crafted with the intent of destroying our current system and replacing it with a single payer system.
In yet another violation of the Constitution, the Thirteenth Amendment may be used by physicians to challenge the Obama Health Denial and Early Death Plan. 1. ‘Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.” 2. “Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.”
Since those that wrote the law appear to be unknown, those who voted on it didn’t know what was in it, and had little if anything to do in writing it, an investigation must be held as to why a bill of such magnitude can be voted upon by the clueless and unknowing. Nancy Pelosi said it best, “We have to pass the bill before you know what’s in it.” Does it seem remotely possible that if she didn’t read it, the vast majority of those that voted for it didn’t either? Brings new meaning to the phrase “taxation without representation”

President Obama’s recently passed health-care reform legislation includes a surprise for many Americans – a beefing up of a U.S. Public Health Service reserve force and expectations that it respond on short notice to “routine public health and emergency response missions,” even involuntarily.
This is the same the same august body that needed twenty-three resolutions to deal with Saddam Hussein. They were in fact completely impotent when it came to enforcing those resolutions on Saddam Hussein’s Iran. This group is made up largely of third world nations, despots and dictators that rarely vote in favor of proposals the U.S. backs.
It’s a place where our “ally,” France sold its vote in a promise not the attack for under the table oil contracts, greatly enriching those involved.

Ditch the witch! Two terms and we vote them out forever. We have had enough of people that have been around since Moses parted the Red Sea.
Sen. Barbara Mikulski, D-Md, is just one of the dirt bags that passed a bill she didn’t read. She made sure we would get substandard care while her ilk continues to be treated like royalty.

Politicians are staying in Congress longer and longer, but in an election year with a noticeably anti-incumbent mood, some Washington outsiders are challenging the idea of making a career out of public service.

WASHINGTON — Politicians are staying in Congress longer and longer, but in an election year with a noticeably anti-incumbent mood, some Washington outsiders are challenging the idea of making a career out of public service.
“We need folks coming in from the outside who have paid taxes and created jobs and lived under the regulations that these career politicians have created,” said Jim Rutledge, a Republican attorney running to unseat Maryland Democratic Sen. Barbara Mikulski, who has 33 years in Congress between the House and Senate.
Rutledge is typical of the outsiders running this year, who know statistics are not in their favor.
Between 1789 and 2002, 13.9 percent of House members and 21.9 percent of senators served 12 years or more, according to the Congressional Research Service.
In today’s Congress, 42.9 percent of House members and 45 percent of senators have been in office for 12 years or more, according to data compiled by the authors of the textbook “Congress and Its Members.”
Term limits supporters, who think 12 years in Congress is plenty, say those numbers have an easy explanation.
“The powers of incumbency in this country are so great that it is nearly impossible to unseat an incumbent, barring death, indictment, scandal or retirement,” said Philip Blumel, a Florida financial planner and president of the advocacy group U.S. Term Limits.
In 2008, 94 percent of incumbents were re-elected to the House and 83 percent were re-elected to the Senate, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. Complete Story
Are you feeling safer than you did before? Miss President George W. Bush Yet? Well we have to give the current administration credit. Their number one priority has been to “fix” the health insurance industry by driving them all out of business, while dumping on Israel. Creating new jobs, Homeland Security, cut spending, transparency? 4getaboutit……..not gunna happen until the “Chosen One” is behind bars.
Obama seems to have a penchant for making nice, hand holding with our enemies rather than supporting a long time alley Israel. Makes sense to me, as a Muslim of course he hates Jews. Random thoughts while wondering what’s it going to take to drive these incompetent fools from office? J.C.
Legislation passed by Congress imposing harsh sanctions on Iran has languished for months without President Barack Obama’s signature as the Islamic Republic moves forward with its nuclear program.
In December, the House passed the Iran Refined Petroleum Sanctions Act by a 412-12 vote. The bill would increase the White House’s power to sanction any company or individual aiding Iran in importing gasoline or refining petroleum.
Iran must import up to 40 percent of its gasoline due to a lack of refining capacity.
The Senate passed a similar bill by a unanimous voice vote in January.
Citing Iran’s human rights abuses, funding of terrorists and pursuit of its nuclear program, Sen. Chris Dodd, the Connecticut Democrat who co-sponsored the bill, said: “With passage of this bill, we make it clear that there will be appropriate consequences if these actions continue.”
Pro-Israel groups strongly support the legislation.
All that remained was for the Democratic leadership to reconcile slight differences in the House and Senate bills.
Instead, they have “bottled up the measure and refused to allow a blending of the bills,” Michael M. Rosen, a Republican activist and attorney in San Diego, writes in the Jerusalem Post.
“Why? Because the Obama administration asked them to.”
A State Department spokesman said the White House is trying to “make sure the president has sufficient flexibility to be able to work with other countries effectively for our shared goal of finding ways to put appropriate pressure on Iran to change course.”
The administration is reportedly not expected to seek a reconciliation of the bills until the United Nations pursues a new resolution on Iran.
China opposes another round of U.N.-sponsored sanctions, and the White House has urged congressional leaders to call China a “cooperating country” and exempt Chinese companies from sanctions for doing business with Iran, according to The Washington Post.
“In light of the Obama administration’s recent pummeling of the Israeli government for building homes in Jerusalem, the White House’s reluctance to punish Tehran and its willingness to coddle Beijing begin to make sense,” Rosen writes.
“Obama and his foreign policy advisers have consistently shown themselves to be more solicitous of America’s enemies than its allies, more willing to provoke our friends than to challenge our foes. And so far, this approach has succeeded only in emboldening opponents of the United States while alienating its trusted partners.”
