Obama State of the Union transcript: Full text: With reality check below.
You are now entering the flying pig zone!
For the viewer of last night’s State of the Union Address several things must become clear. With the Obama administration along with other administrations past and future the tree of liberty is absolutely under siege from a gathering storm.
Call it Euro-socialism, democratic-socialism, Marxism, liberalism, or simply the policies of the Obama administration partnered with an ever-expansive government in Washington, in the end the storm has one name: utopia.
The dreams of the utopian require loss of freedom and liberty in exchange for what is called “fairness for all.”
“You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing It.” ~ Dr. Adrian Rogers, 1931. As you will see below Obama in his own words doesn’t understand the above truism.
Last month, I went to Andrews Air Force Base and welcomed home some of our last troops to serve in Iraq. Together, we offered a final, proud salute to the colors under which more than a million of our fellow citizens fought – and several thousand gave their lives. (He couldn’t care less about the military they represent nothing but a photo-op and a talking point. (Evidence cutting military spending, announcing in advance his planned withdrawal of our troops for political gain)
(On accomplishments of the military:) Please see, Truth about Peace in Iraq – They Can’t Handle it.
This is what results when you sir announce the military’s departure date and once again lie to a potential alley while pandering to the Code Pinko’s for votes.
Our efforts were far from perfect, but in the case of Iraq we filled the void left by poorly trained and for the most part Iraqi troops which Iran will surely exploit Iraq taking over its Ramallah Oil Fields.
These achievements are a testament to the courage, selflessness, and teamwork of America’s Armed Forces. At a time when too many of our institutions have let us down, they exceed all expectations. They’re not consumed with personal ambition. They don’t obsess over their differences. They focus on the mission at hand. They work together. (Don’t talk to republicans, talk to one man, Senate leader Harry Reid who consistently blocks bipartisan legislation put forth by the house; even blocking a military spending measure during time of war, as well a immigration legislation, only to have him keep it from making its way to the Presidents desk.) You want bipartisanship Mr. President? Tell Harry Reid to go home and stay there. (More to follow.)
