Obama’s Fiscal Cliff and the Chicago Way: What if we had selected the Sarah Palin Way?

Comment by Jim Campbell, Citizen Journalist and Patriot.There were few surprises to those that read just a little about Obama what his agenda would be.

The only thing that still amazes me was that a President George W. Bush hating electorate voted for this chump even though Bush wasn’t on the ticket. 

 

Imagine how different the United States and the entire world would be if the Republicans had chosen to run Sarah Palin at the top of the ticket. 

Here are two articles I wrote in August 2011 dealing with Governor Palin:

Why Sarah Palin would make an outstanding president.

Will this likely happen?  Not until the Republican Party decides what they stand for and who they represent.

A friend from Chicago, involved in Illinois politics who has known Obama since his early days in the Illinois State Senate, told me that two things that trump everything else in Obama’s mind: redistributing the wealth and empowering labor unions. 

Look at everything the President does, my friend says, and you will find one or the other lurking in the background.

My friend’s analysis may explain a lot about the current state of affairs concerning the standoff over the so-called fiscal cliff and Obama’s refusal to abandon the idea that he must raise taxes on the rich.

 

The President and his henchmen certainly understand that raising taxes on the richest 2% of taxpayers (in reality these people are not the richest but those with the highest incomes) makes little economic sense – doing so would reduce the deficit for 2012 from $1.10 trillion to $1.02 trillion or, in these numbers, really not at all. 30 years later, consent decree violation claims still threaten

Voting machines suspiciously defaulting to Barack Obama? Buses loaded with strangers appearing at polling stations? Even ballots turning out 100 percent for one candidate in precinct reports?

In short, suspicions of vote fraud?

As has been reported previously on this site, the FBI knew about the General’s affair last summer.

Understanding that said revelation might have been an unwanted October surprise Team Obama chose to bury it, thus providing one more reason for impeachment or to bring charges of treason against him.

With the Obama administration, National Security is always trumped by winning an election, it’s the Chicago way.

Allen West Now Leads Initial Vote Count in One Fla. County by 300 votes

After a campaign filled with lies from his competitor, bogus ads funded by his daddy PAC, and $5 million dollars put up by George Soros, it appear the worm may be turning for the good guy.

Rep. Allen West is leading by more than 300 votes in Palm Beach County, Fla., a hopeful sign for the Tea Party favorite fighting for his political life after Tuesday’s election, a source told TheBlaze.

It would be an absolute shame to not have Allen West’s voice in congress, this is why the progressives made him their number one target.

Would they cheat, destroy ballots, rig voting machines?  Of course they would, it’s the Chicago way.

No winner has been declared in the congressional race between the Republican West and his Democratic opponent Patrick Murphy, though Murphy had a 2,456-vote lead in the unofficial vote total.

But a Republican observer who has been monitoring the counting process said West pulled ahead in Palm Beach County on Thursday as the initial count continues.

Ballot printing errors led to ballots that could not be fed through scanners in some areas, so Florida election workers have been forced to reproduce their contents onto new ballots that can be read properly, the observer said. As the votes are counted for the first time, West has taken a slim lead.

It’s a separate issue from what’s happening in St. Lucie County, where West has demanded a recount over “disturbing irregularities.” He filed a motion Wednesday to have paper ballots counted and to impound voting machines and all paper ballots cast, WFOR-TV reported.

The observer called St. Lucie County more Republican in makeup while Palm Beach County is a mix but overall Democratic.

“The fact that he is ahead, period, even in this county is a good sign,” the observer said.

Obama’s Interior Department still going rogue

The Obama administration’s loathsome cowboy, Interior Secretary Ken Salazar, won’t take no for an answer. He’s been smacked down repeatedly by federal courts for imposing a draconian, junk science-based moratorium on the oil and gas industry. Yet, the job-killing zealot and his boss just introduced another ruinous offshore drilling ban two weeks ago.

Thomas Pyle of the D.C.-based Institute for Energy Research reports that the Salazar scheme “reinstitutes a 30-year moratorium on offshore energy exploration that will keep our most promising resources locked away until long after President Obama begins plans for his presidential library.” Instead of working to enhance our energy independence and free up abundant natural resources, the Obama administration has worked tirelessly to close off access to nearly 86 billion barrels of oil on America’s Outer Continental Shelf alone.

The latest plan involves the interior secretary’s authority to auction oil and gas leases and to oversee oil and gas research and exploration on the OCS. Pyle explains that the “2012-17 plan leaves out the entire Atlantic and Pacific coasts and the vast majority of OCS areas off Alaska. It cuts in half the average number of lease sales per year, requires higher minimum bids and shorter lease periods, and dramatically reduces lease terms.”  Excellent read below.
