Now this is special.  The taxpayer is picking up the tab to the tune of $3 million dollars in an attempt to bring more people on the food stamp gravy train.

It should come as no surprise that states the chump needs to win, North Carolina, South Carolina and Ohio among others are where the ads are being shown.

It’s also a safe bet with the corruption within this administration that the $3 million dollar price tag is grossly understated.

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it, I’m J.C. and I approve this message.

It’s an Obama world.

The Obama Administration wants more people on food stamps.
A new ad campaign urges people to sign up, telling them, “They make you look good.”

Because one out of seven Americans on food stamps is not enough.
CNN Money reported, via FOX Nation:

More than one in seven Americans are on food stamps, but the federal government wants even more people to sign up for the safety net program.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has been running radio ads for the past four months encouraging those eligible to enroll. The campaign is targeted at the elderly, working poor, the unemployed and Hispanics.

Beer and cigarettes anyone?

The department is spending between $2.5 million and $3 million on paid spots, and free public service announcements are also airing. The campaign can be heard in California, Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, and the New York metro area.

“Research has shown that many people — particularly underserved seniors, working poor, and legal immigrants — do not understand the requirements of the program,” said Kevin Concannon, a USDA under-secretary.

The radio ads, which run through June 30, come amid a bitter partisan fight over the safety net program. Republican lawmakers want to reduce funding for the benefit or turn it into a block grant program, which would also minimize the cost. Democrats, however, are not willing to make major cuts.

Can we all agree now that Barack Obama really is the food stamp president?

  1. That Leninist in the White is insufferable.

  2. Wouldn’t it be refreshing to see the First Fraud Family need to be on Food Stamps?! One lives in hope FOR CHANGE!

  4. I just posted this story – it enrages me – and should enrage others. This is one disgusting man. He is spening money via food stamps – disgusting. Can’t wait until Novemeber when his ass is out of OUR HOUSE> or to be correct January.

  5. It is surely a despicable and outrageous action by a corrupt administration; but not unexpected as the Left is running shit-their-pants scared right now. They are beginning to see how bleak their future is. The thought of being displaced from the positions of power they now abuse is tormenting them mercilessly. And I couldn’t be happier; seeing them squirm is just reward for having had to endure 4 years of their UN-American, anti-capitalist, pro-Muslim, pro-green energy, wasteful/reckless spending and continual attempts at eroding our rights by flagrantly ignoring the Constitution. I can hardly wait to hear them squeal in agony on Thursday when SCOTUS hands down their decision on Obozocare and Holder is charged with contempt. I expect one will be able to hear them howl clear up north in Palinland. May the LEFT forever writhe in pain!

  6. I believe this says it all. Bears don’t vote do they??

The Food Stamp Program, administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is proud to be distributing this year the greatest amount of free meals and food stamps ever, to 46 million people.

Meanwhile, the National Park Service, administered by the U.S. Department of the Interior, asks us “Please Do Not Feed the Animals.” Their stated reason for the policy is because “The animals will grow dependent on handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves.”

Thus endeth today’s lesson in irony.
