Palin: ‘We Haven’t Yet Begun to Fight!’—Exclusive Interview with Breitbart News

Comment by Jim Campbell, Citizen Journalist, Oath Keeper and Patriot.

In her first interview since leaving Fox News in an interview covered by Stephen K. Bannon we learn that Sarah and Andrew were warriors cut from the same cloth.

As to her future plans, well let’s say she held the close to the vest but certainly believes the Tea Party is far from dead and that the conservative movement will ultimately return us to a Constitutionally driven form of government when we win the next election.

Be sure to watch Hannity this weekend to watch one hour special called Boom Town which will open your eyes to what is really happening in Washington D.C.

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it, I’m J.C. and I approve this message.

Andrew Breitbart’s News

In my research for the film I made on Governor Palin, The Undefeated, I was constantly amazed at the anti-establishment stands she took at every step in her rise to power. Moves that a conventional politician would run from, she embraced: in Wasilla, in Juneau, and in the rise of the Tea Party. Her ability to see “over the hill” to what is really important, what really matters, is what sets her apart.

Andrew Breitbart embraced the Governor as a fellow warrior in the long struggle against a detached and venal political/media complex. He lives on in spirit and through the work of those he inspired—including, but not limited to, those who report and contribute at his site.

The Governor has been at the forefront of the fight against the Permanent Political Class and, as such, inspired Peter Schweizer and myself in our work last night on Fox News with Sean Hannity’s specialBoomtown.” We consider ourselves honored at Breitbart News to have her share with us her thoughts on the road ahead in this exclusive Q & A.

1. What’s next for you? ( See entire interview below)

Short term: I encourage others to step out in faith, jump out of the comfort zone, and broaden our reach as believers in American exceptionalism. That means broadening our audience. I’m taking my own advice here as I free up opportunities to share more broadly the message of the beauty of freedom and the imperative of defending our republic and restoring this most exceptional nation. We can’t just preach to the choir; the message of liberty and true hope must be understood by a larger audience.

Focus on the 2014 election is also imperative. It’s going to be like 2010, but this time around we need to shake up the GOP machine that tries to orchestrate away too much of the will of constitutional conservatives who don’t give a hoot how they do it in DC. DC is out of touch, obviously.

Voices on the right like Mark Levin, Rush, and the writers here at Breitbart have come out strongly against the “go along to get along” politicians who wave the white flag before the battle even begins. We’re not going to be able to advance the cause of limited constitutional government unless we deal with these big government enablers on our side.

And this all ties into the problem of crony capitalism and the permanent political class in the Beltway. We need to consistently take them on election after election – ever vigilant.

As far as long-term plans, the door is wide open. I know the country needs more truth-telling in the media, and I’m willing to do that. So, we shall see. And always in the center of it all I have an awesome, full, exciting, and large family living in a very unique part of America that keeps me hopping! I love it!

2. Where do you think the country stands at the beginning of the President’s 2nd term?

Before the November election I wrote that we all know what Obama’s second term will look like because we’ve seen his first. I said: “We know what we will get from a second Obama term. We will get the same failed policies.

We will get Obamacare locked into law. We will get a debt crisis. We will get more inflation and higher gas prices. We will get tax increases. We will get fewer jobs. We will get more small businesses collapsing under the weight of higher taxes and unfair regulation.

We will get more corruption and crony capitalism favoring the Obama administration’s friends. We will get less domestic energy development and increased dependence on terrorist sponsoring foreign regimes for our energy needs. We will get a ‘blame America first’ foreign policy that bows to our enemies and snubs our friends like Israel and leaves America and the world less safe. We will get less opportunity and security for ourselves and for our children.”

Predicting the future has never been easier because here we are! Already we see higher taxes, a stagnant economy, the same inflationary monetary policies, Obamacare looming like a dark cloud over small businesses, yet another demand for “debt ceiling” increases, continued stonewalling about the tragic Benghazi attacks, a Secretary of Defense nominee who has a history of being antagonistic to our ally Israel, and the attack on our Second Amendment rights by an administration that has no respect for the Constitution or the separation of powers.

The problem is that some on the Right are now skittish because of the lost 2012 election. They shouldn’t be. Conservatism didn’t lose. A moderate Republican candidate lost after he was perceived to alienate working class Reagan Democrat and Independent voters who didn’t turn out for him as much as they did for the McCain/Palin ticket in 2008.

Granted, those same voters also didn’t turn out for Obama as strongly either. We had an election defined by a biased media plus millions of voters who sat it out in disgust. As long as we allow the media and GOP establishment to tell us who our nominees must be, we can expect to lose. I’m not interested in losing. America’s next generation can’t afford another loss.

3.  The MSM have declared both you and the Tea Party dead and buried. Reaction?

I was raised to never retreat and to pick battles wisely, and all in due season. When it comes to defending our republic, we haven’t begun to fight! But we delight in those who underestimate us.

  1. I’ve been wondering where Sarah is since even her Facebook page has not been recently updated. (I haven’t checked in a few days, though, so I could be wrong at this time…will have to do this again tonight.)

I agree with Sarah that we need to pick our battles wisely. The only problem I’m finding is that, as this present administration continues to try to take our Constitutional rights and liberties away from us, there have been and continue to be a multitude of necessary “battles” that we are all engaged in…gun control and it’s threat to our 2nd Amendment rights, illegal alien amnesty, election rigging, obummercare, monetary and weaponry aid being given to our enemies, Sharia Law fighting to be included into our judicial system, unconstitutional presidential appointees, no budget, the raising of our debt ceiling, increased taxes on the middle class, the threat of Socialism taking over our Republic, Benghazi and the accompanying sham of an investigation, a wimpy and kowtowing Congress…my lord, the list just goes on and on.

Sarah is right when she says that we can’t continue to simply “preach to the choir”…that we have to reach a larger audience. I’ve had that feeling lately, too, so with the election now being over (and whether there’s enough time in a day or not), I’ve “reactivated” my blog site in order to reach others who may not be on Facebook and The Tea Party Community,

Also: when reading the comments posted by other patriots on various news articles’ sites, I have been able to contact some of them…and have received happy replies! So many Patriots feel a bit isolated with no way to really contact others (especially if they don’t wish to be on social media sites such as Facebook.) so this is just another way to help let our brothers and sisters know that they’re truly not alone.

The biggest problem I’m finding, though, is that we need a central leader or a central group to join us all together because, from what I can see, we remain fragmented and often isolated from one another. We have no way to effectively communicate with one another as a whole.

Just one idea: If the Tea Party groups in each state could choose one person to represent their individual state, all these representatives could then get together…kind of like a Tea Party Congress… and come up with ideas to help direct us as to what action(s) we all need to take as a whole! These actions could include peacefully marching on Washington or gathering on the steps of our individual state capitals. Our Conservative Media…Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, etc…could then be used to broadcast this news to the rest of us.

It’s just an idea…with a lot of “bugs” that would have to be worked out, I know. But aside from this, I just don’t know what to do. Patriotic words are inspiring but we need more than just words to join us all together as a Force To Be Reckoned With against this tyrannical government. We need a Leader (like Sarah) or a small group of Leaders to help bring us all together…immediately if not yesterday!.

  2. I’d love to see Palin team up w/Allen West & go 3rd Party! My Republican voting status has been changed to Independent b/c the Party no longer represents what I believe as an American. They have merged wtih the left on too many issues & are a bunch of spineless, self serving weasels.
Agree w/Muriel! Patriot America needs a leader………….I beleive once word got out, support would fall into place fairly quickly b/c so many people are LOOKING for organization and leadership which we do not have in DC at all, and many state and local levels have also jumped into the RINO play pool.

Jim, brunette (for a change!) really dresses up your arm in the Christmas card! LOL

  3. Nice Christmas card there JC. Mrs Thatcher was the Iron Lady. Well I say there is another Iron lady. Mrs Palin.

  4. The Hannity special is one of the best ever shown on FOX NEWS. It is a must for all Americans.

  5. From the prospective of a believer and a follower of Christ I have to say that I am sorely disappointed with the mindset of many self-professed Christians who sat home instead of going to the polls on Election Day, Their excuses were varied, the biggest being that, “Well, I cannot vote for a Mormon.”
So, allow the anti-Christ false prophet of hope and change to be re-elected instead! But then, I got the thinking that perhaps Mitt Romney should not have won after all. I did not like the fact that during the Chick-fil-A controversy this past summer, Mitt sided with the gay lobbyists pushing the issue by claiming that he would not get involved with it. So much for freedom of speech in America! Romney’s response to Chick-fil-A’s CEO’s right to speak his mind was like Obama’s answer about when human life begins in the womb, a subject that he deemed “above my
    pay grade”..
Furthermore, back in 2008, the night Sarah Palin walked out on the stage at the GOP convention-unannounced no less- and blew her listening audiences’ minds with her return-to-common sense Reagan era speech, she not only caught her detractors off guard, but single-handedly pulled the rug out from under the lamestream media who took great delight in calling her an “airhead” and “Caribou Barbie”. Sarah reminds me of those courageous women of two centuries ago who, along with their men, struck out for territory unknown and settled the American frontier. Right now more than ever before, we need all Americans with that same independent streak of pulling-yourself-up-by-your-own-bootstraps determination to stand together and take our country back from those determine to destroy it.

    • WOW girl. This was hot. I really enjoyed this comment. You are a super freak. I LOVE Sarah. If McCain would of won he would of walked around and shook hands and Sarah would of gave us the “hope” & “change” we were promised by Barack (Lightening) (The Destroyer) (Lord of the Fly’s) ( Hussein, the Christian)

We are not hurting enough as a country yet to for hope & change but it is coming.

  6. Excellent comments by all on this subject. I just finished watching Hannity’s special Boom Town. D.C. is the hosing of America and as far as Sarah Palin is concerned, I have always thought she was very underestimated. When I voted for McCain, I was actually voting for her and she’s not finished yet.
