‘I Need You in the Game’: Wis. Sheriff Tells Residents to Learn How to Use a Gun to Defend Themselves

Comment by Jim Campbell, Citizen Journalist, Oath Keeper and Patriot.

What is this you are about to here from a Wisconsin County Sheriff? “Take a hand gun course, you have a duty to protect yourself until the police arrive?”

That’s got to have Obama’s thong in a wad.  LMAO.

This exemplifies two things, one, Obama’s complete misunderstanding of the 2nd Amendment and second when liberal counties run out of money, they are forced to lay off even unionized employees that are  unionized members of the police and sheriffs department.

What was that Margaret Thatcher said about socialism?  Oh here it is….

Makes you proud to be an American doesn’t it?

We will all be much prouder when Obama is kicked to the curb by whatever legal means necessary.

The Blaze

Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke Jr. has a message for residents: learn how to use a gun.

With budget cutbacks putting a strain on law enforcement, simply calling 911 might not cut it in a life-or-death or situation, Clarke said in a new radio ad this month. Safety is “no longer a spectator sport,” he says. “I need you in the game.”

“With officers laid off and furloughed, simply calling 911 and waiting is no longer your best option,” Clark adds. “You can beg for mercy from a violent criminal, hide under the bed, or you can fight back. But are you prepared?”

“Consider taking a certified safety course in handling a firearm so you can defend yourself until we get there. You have a duty to protect yourself and your family. We’re partners now. Can I count on you?” he asks.

The spot has quickly earned criticism, including from the Milwaukee Deputy Sheriffs’ Association and Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett.

Milwaukee Deputy Sheriffs’ Association president Roy Felber told the Associated Press it sounds like a call to vigilantism, while Barrett’s spokeswoman said it sounded like Clarke was “auditioning for the next Dirty Harry movie.”

Clearly the progressives in the Obama administration are not students of history and it’s probable this is their goal for the United States.

When a government continues to bribe people for their votes and then has no money to pay for the “free stuff” the results are predictable.

That’s my story and I’m sticking to it, I’m J.C. and I approve this message.

Over 140 people have been arrested and 74 injured, including 43 police officers, as Spanish police react swiftly to reports of property damage and disorderly behavior while mass protests that began in Spain continue to roll out across the EU.

A wave of anti-austerity anger is sweeping across Europe. Spain and Portugal are undergoing general strikes, whereas Greece and Italy are seeing many walkouts.

In Spain – the fourth-biggest eurozone economy, yet with one in four workers unemployed – activists and unions have staged an evening rally outside the parliament in the capital, Madrid.

Police have reportedly fired rubber bullets to disperse protesters in Barcelona and Madrid.

Obama’s Radicalism Is Killing the Dow

Comment by Jim Campbell
Since this first appeared in the WSJ it didn’t require rocket scientists to determine that Obama policy was a job killing policy.  The economic policy of John Maynard Keynes, and Karl Marx which Obama follows would of course cause havoc with not just the US stock market but the markets of the entire world.
Will somebody explain to him that the riots is socialist countries are the result of government’s unable to pay promised benefits?  Perhaps that is his goal for the US to reach this state allowing for him to lawfully use Posse Comitatus.

The illusion that Barack Obama will lead from the economic center has quickly come to an end. President Obama is returning to Jimmy Carter’s higher taxes and Bill Clinton’s draconian defense drawdown.

On behalf of the retired, and those with few assets let me take this opportunity to say see ya in 2012 at the polls.

It’s hard not to see the continued selloff on Wall Street and the growing fear on Main Street as products, at least in part, of the realization that the new U.S. president’s policies are designed to radically reengineer the market-based U.S. economy, not just mitigate the recession and financial crisis.

The illusion that Barack Obama will lead from the economic center has quickly come to an end. Instead of combining the best policies of past Democratic presidents—John Kennedy on taxes, Bill Clinton on welfare reform and a balanced budget, for instance—President Obama is returning to Jimmy Carter’s higher taxes and Mr. Clinton’s draconian defense drawdown.

Republicans showed serious errors in judgement compromising on Omnibus budget bill

by Jim Campbell

In the good ole days it was called ‘horse trading,’ after all, politics is the art of compromise.

Ostensibly, Republicans caved in to assure that most of the Bush era tax cuts would be kept in place.  On the face what’s not to like?  Perhaps an analysis is due.

This is certainly a law that would have fallen under the ‘read it before you sign it to find out what’s in it,’ thank you Nancy Pelsoi.

Had lawmakers done so they would have found some very interesting, o.k. disgusting sausage making.
